Buffalo Rutland Company is a small, family-operated business. We strive to provide the highest quality tools, at a price that can fit anyone's budget — from the weekend tinkerer to the seasoned veteran.
It all started the summer of 2013 in an 8×10 garage in a tiny townhouse in the middle of Santa Clara, CA. What began as a passion project quickly became a mission — to provide jewelers and silversmiths with the highest quality handcrafted tools at prices that fit any budget.
We want our customers to feel the love and dedication we have for our business with each and every transaction — not a cut-and-dry "thanks," but a deep understanding of how much they mean to us. You, the customer, allow us to feed our children, and without you, we would cease to exist.
Today, the Rutland family works out of our East Tennessee workshop, hand carving every shot plate, stamp, and die with the same love and dedication we had on day one. Every tool that leaves our shop carries a piece of our story.
Our mission is to constantly find ways to improve what we can offer our beloved customers — from speedy delivery to a customer service that truly emphasizes the customer's needs and wants. As a small family running a small business, we have a strong moral compass which we use to guide all of our decisions, to assure that the Buffalo Rutland Company experience is one that reminds us all that there are still "little guys" out there who truly care.
